NIKE Tournament of Champion 2010 Silver Division Winners-

The Lady Saxons brought home a Championship plaque this year and was seen by many as one to watch this season with a fourth place standing in the LA Times Prep Sports Girls basketball polls for Div. IIIAA. The team won each game by an average of 20 points. Kelly Kika has an average of 20.6 points. Joslyn Barnes is one to watch in the paint as she is averaging 10.1 rebounds in the preseason. Brittney Hale is adding to the attack with 3.9 steals. Consistant play comes from Danielle Yamauchi who is starting and playing positive minutes each game.

Fund Raiser - Players should be busy taking orders for the Tea Crackers.  They can fill the first 50 orders with the bags they took home on Tuesday.  They can bring the bags to the potluck on Saturday and sell to the lower levels.  Please let me know when you need more bags.

Arizona - I need to know which parents/siblings will be riding the bus to Arizona.  Please confirm by this weekend.  Also, if you made a reservation at the Resort, call to get a confirmation number if they have not yet sent you one.

Champions of the West Tournament:

Before the year was out the Junior Varsity Team had to win the West Tournament for 2009!! Great job Lady Saxon JV and Coach Elliot!!

Looks like we are ready for League.

Monday, Dec. 8th at North, 4:30pm     JV game vs. Warren High School.  Snack stand JV shift 6-7:30pm.   Snack stand volunteers:  Yadira Koba, Teri Gekko, Kim Garcia.    If you signed up to donate anything for the snack stand, please turn it in  before the JV game.

South Tournament: Wednesday, Dec. 10th, 5:15pm  North has a bye the first round, then plays on Wednesday at 5:15pm.  Girls will take a bus to this game. 

West Tournament: Friday, Dec. 26th, 10:30am  North plays Peninsula in the first round of this tournament. **There will be no bus to any of the West Tournament games, since it is during winter break

Snack Stand -     We will be working the snack stand on the following dates/times. We would like each family to sign  up for at least one date.  Kim Garcia will be coordinating work shift sign ups.  Deon & Shawn Richard will be coordinating food donation sign ups.

Woodbridge Tournament (in Irvine) - The girls received the tournament brackets/schedule today.  Their first tournament game is Tuesday, December 2nd, at 3:00pm, vs. Capistrano Valley High School.
